McKnight: Hawks Hurting In Playoffs
By Connor McKnight--
The list of walking wounded grows for the Blackhawks. Neither Bryan Bickell nor Tomas Kopecky will play Sunday night for the Hawks, although coach Joel Quenneville said both of them got "consideration." John Scott will suit up in one spot.
Don't expect Scott to play huge minutes, but when he is on the ice, expect him to be parked in front of Canucks' goaltender Roberto Luongo.
Blackhawks center Dave Bolland will sit once again although both he and the team are optimistic about his chances for game four of the series.
Down two games to none in the series, captain Jonathan Toews may have put it best when asked about the team's desperation level entering Sunday night's game.
"It's up there," Toews said, "It has to be. We still don't feel like we've played our best game yet. Doesn't matter what happens along a series, you get better as you go along. We've looked at some things that in both games we didn't do so well and we can't wait any longer to correct those mistakes."
