Schuster: Game 4 Could Determine Bulls-Hawks Series
By David Schuster--
ATLANTA (WSCR) Desperation time for the Hawks and a chance for the Bulls to put a stranglehold on this series Sunday night. The Hawks know that if they lose this evening they're probably done. The series would then be 3-1 and the Bulls would have a chance to wrap it up Tuesday night back in Chicago.
Atlanta will likely junk up their defense and be a lot more physical with Derrick Rose. Look for the Hawks to start double teaming Rose and trapping him in the back court. Surprisingly, they haven't done any of that so far because Rose had been bothered by his ankle. But now that he has gotten the pain out of his mind and started attacking, the Hawks will have to try something new.
As for the Bulls, they won't try and do anything different. Tom Thibodeau is a creature of habit and will just stay with what is working. In other words he will tell Rose to attack and have his defense try and stifle Joe Johnson and Jamal Crawford.
The Bulls have a real opportunity at hand. Should they close out the Hawks by Tuesday they have a chance to rest up for the next series because it looks like Miami and Boston could go six or seven games, which would give the Bulls some time off.
