Schuster: Boozer Likely To Play In Game 1, Hinrich Out For Hawks
By David Schuster--
CHICAGO (WSCR) There was a crazy report this morning from the Bulls official twitter site that Joakim Noah would not play tonight. That report proved to be erroneous and was quickly changed. So Noah will play this evening and it looks like Carlos Boozer will, as well.
Boozer went through most of the team's shootaround at the Berto Center and said his injured toe is feeling much better. The Bulls power forward has had numerous treatments over the last few days and will have his shoe fitted with extra protection to soften the blow of the pounding running up and down the court.
Officially, Boozer will warm up prior to this evening's game and if all feels right...he will play.
Derrick Rose will also play and says he feels much better what with the extra time off, but Kirk Hinrich has been ruled out of tonight's game. Hinrich said this morning that he will try and overcome his hamstring injury and play before the series is over.
