Schuster: 62 Wins Down...16 More To Go For The Bulls
By David Schuster--
The fans and the media have been looking forward to the NBA Playoffs for months and now the Chicago Bulls can too. The regular season came to an end Wednesday with a 97-92 victory over New Jersey, and the Bulls finished the 2011 campaign with a 62-20 record. Absolutely amazing considering that they split their first 20 games and then won 52 of their last 62 contests.
So, now it's on to the playoffs with the Indiana Pacers, their first round opponent. Game one is Saturday at noon with the 2nd game on Monday night at 8:30. Then it's on to Indianapolis for games three and four next Thursday and Saturday.
The Bulls defeated the Pacers in three of their four meetings and though most people think this upcoming series will be a cake walk, it wont be that easy. The Pacers will definitely try and take Derrick Rose out of his comfort zone with double and triple teams so the rest of his team mates will have to step up their play.
