School District: No Contacting Teachers On Facebook
NAPERVILLE, Ill. (WBBM) -- Some changes are in the works for students in Naperville School District 203, among them a prohibition against talking to teachers on Facebook.
As WBBM Newsradio 780's Felicia Middlebrooks reports, chatting on Facebook can almost be considered a religion for most young people.

But the Chicago Tribune reports in District 203, there are new limitations on Facebook. School board members just received a revised set of rules on social media.
One rule is that if students want to communicate with teachers about homework after a missed day, they may do so, but not on Facebook. They must use school e-mail or make a phone call.
Teachers may use a Facebook page for a class project or lesson, but not without prior approval from the school district.
Guidelines will be revised again in a few months.
