NAPERVILLE, Ill. (CBS) -- A toddler was airlifted to the hospital Monday morning when a school bus and a sport-utility vehicle were involved in a crash Monday morning in Naperville.
As CBS 2's Kris Habermehl reports, a call came in just after 9 a.m. for a crash involving an SUV and a full-sized school bus at 248th Avenue and Lapp Lane in Naperville on the far south end of Naperville.
Video from Chopper 2 HD showed the school bus far off the road on the grass, with its front end buried in a grove of trees.
The SUV was overturned and lying on the side of the road.
A toddler was ejected from the SUV and had to be airlifted to Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, officials said.
An adult, another child and the school bus driver were taken to Edward Hospital in Naperville with non-life-threatening injuries.
