Former Schaumburg Officer Takes To YouTube To Say He Found Salvation
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A former Schaumburg police officer, who is facing numerous felony charges for allegedly shaking down drug dealers, has posted an online video saying he's found God.
John Cichy starts out saying that "you may recognize the face, you may recognize the name. If you don't, Google me."

The former Schaumburg police officer says he not making the video to talk about that story.
Instead he invites people to attend Bartlett Baptist Church later this month.
"I want you to hear about what God has done to me and for me," he said.
This is not a stunt, he says.
It's real.
However, Cichy's attorney has told his client not to speak in public, according to the Daily Herald.
Cichy and former fellow undercover officers Matthew Hudak and Terrance O'Brien are charged with several felonies, including criminal drug conspiracy, theft and official misconduct.
