Same-Sex Couples Line Up To Get Married At County Building
CHICAGO (CBS) -- History was being made Saturday at the County Building where same-sex couples were lining up in marriage court to be among the first to tie the knot after a judge decided yesterday there was no reason they should have to wait until the law was to take effect on the first of June, reports WBBM's Mike Krauser.

When Cloe Corrin and Jenna Whitehouse heard the news yesterday they decided the June wedding they were planning was happening now.
"It means that our love is going to be recognized by both the state and the federal government and I think that is very important," said Corrin.
Joanne Gurion was there to witness the marriage of her son, Charlie and his partner David Wilk. She said she's proud to be a citizen of the state of Illinois.
"It is the right thing to do. As a mom first of all, my dream was to dance at their wedding and I didn't know if that was going to happen in my lifetime and I am just overwhelmed with joy," said Gurion.
