Roy Williams Returns To Practice For Bears
LAKE FOREST, Ill. (CBS) -- Bears wide receiver Roy Williams was back at practice on Wednesday, although he was limited after missing Sunday's loss to the Saints with a groin strain.
Fellow wide receiver Earl Bennett missed practice as he continues to recover from a bruised chest he suffered when he was hit hard after a catch against the Saints.
Safety Major Wright and right tackle Gabe Carimi also missed practice with a head/neck injury and a knee injury, respectively. Carimi could miss up to four weeks because of a dislocated kneecap.
Running back Marion Barber, who has missed the first two games of the season after being signed as a free agent to be Matt Forte's backup, was limited in practice with a calf injury he suffered in the preseason.
Safety Chris Harris and guard Lance Louis were also limited in practice with a hamstring injury and an ankle injury, respectively.
For the Bears' next opponent, the Green Bay Packers, linebacker Frank Zombo is listed as out with a shoulder injury; linebacker Clay Matthews and cornerback Charles Woodson missed practice with a quad injury and a foot injury, respectively; tackle Chad Clifton, cornerback Davon House, defensive end Ryan Pickett, linebacker Vic So'Oto and cornerback Tramon Williams were all limited in practice; and tight end Jermichael Finley and running back Alex Green returned to practice after being injured.
