Roseland Woman Shot In The Face
CHICAGO (STMW) - A young woman found dead Saturday night in the Roseland neighborhood was shot in the face.
The 20-year-old woman was found unresponsive at 437 W. 103rd St., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office, which was not releasing her name pending family notification.
A Sunday autopsy determined she died of a gunshot wound to the face and her death was ruled a homicide, the medical examiner's office said.
Police found the woman at 7:03 p.m. with head trauma, police News Affairs Officer Ronald Gaines said. She was dead on the scene.
Calumet Area detectives are investigating.
