Rose Named Eastern Conference Player Of The Month
Earlier today, the Chicago Bulls' coach Tom Thibodeau was named Eastern Conference Coach of the Month. Just before the Bulls tipped off against the Pistons, Derrick Rose was named the Eastern Conference Player of the Month for the month of March.
Chicago's star player is making a run for MVP with a career-high 42 points in one game and 17 assists in one game. Derrick Rose has lead the Bulls to a 13-3 record in March, pushing Chicago ahead of Boston for first place.
The Western Conference award went to Kobe Bryant.
