Rose Misses Practice With Sore Neck, But Says He'll Play Tonight
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Derrick Rose missed practice Thursday morning, due to a sore neck, but told reporters "hell yeah, for sure I'm going to play tonight" in the Bulls' game against the Knicks.
Chicago Tribune reporter K.C. Johnson tweeted Rose told reporters his knee is fine, and he doesn't expect to miss the second game of the regular season.
Rose scored 12 points and had 4 assists in 34 minutes in the season opener against the Heat, after missing 18 months while recovering from a torn ACL in his left knee.
