Rose And Bulls Getting Closer

The Chicago Bulls 105-77 trouncing of the Washington Wizards brought them to within one game of the Miami Heat, and two games from the top spot in the conference.

But the win also brought them closer to the team that they always expected themselves to be, before the team was disrupted by a flurry of injuries.

"We're getting there," Bulls point guard Derrick Rose said. "I think definitely, we're still working Joakim [Noah] back into it."

Noah missed 30 games with a hand injury, and before his return to the lineup a week ago, the team had only had their full lineup for nine games all season.

"He's doing a great job with a lot of energy, helping us be aggressive on both ends," Rose said of Noah's impact on the team.

The scary part for the rest of the Eastern Conference is that in only his fourth game back, Noah already looks like he hasn't skipped a beat, tallying 19 points and 11 rebounds on Monday night.

Riding a three-game win streak, the Bulls are starting to look like the team that some expect to compete for the top seed in the East. But they're not there yet, they're only getting warmed up.
