From the ground, you just see a bunch of corn.
"This is basically what you see – corn on both sides," said Mike Williams.
But from the air, you see Ron Santo. So what possessed Williams to put Santo's face in the maze?
"The fact that he finally got into the Hall of Fame," Williams said. "It's just something that, to me, is well-deserved and long overdue, and hopefully, he can look down and see it."
As you might expect, Williams is a lifelong Cubs fan.
"One of my earliest memories is watching the Cubs on television in 1962 – watching that team grow into the team that broke my heart in 1969," Williams said.
Opening is Sept. 1, but you can fly over the maze now.
He hit .277 during his 15-year career with 342 home runs and 1,331 RBIs. He won five consecutive Gold Gloves and went to nine All-Star Games.
