Rolling Meadows Man Accused Of Serial Assaults On Teen Girls
ROLLING MEADOWS, Ill. (STMW) -- A 39-year-old man has been charged with sexually assaulting three teenage girls, one of whom he called his "girlfriend," in his northwest suburban apartment, prosecutors said.
Damien Deanda of 1533 N. Windsor in Arlington Heights is charged with three counts of aggravated criminal sexual assault, a Class X felony, said Cook County State's Attorney's office spokeswoman Tandra Simonton.
On Friday, Deanda was ordered held on $350,000 bond, Simonton said.
He is accused of sexually abusing a 15-year-old girl he called his girlfriend, in addition to a 13-year-old girl and a 16-year-old girl, prosecutors said.
Between March 18 and March 28 at his apartment, Deanda fondled and had sex with his "girlfriend," who was 14 at the time, in front of her 13-year-old friend. He then had sex with the 13-year-old girl after taking out a handgun and giving both girls Ecstasy, marijuana and alcohol, court records said.
The sexual acts continued between August 2010 and April 2011, when the "girlfriend" was 15, prosecutors said.
And on March 7, Deanda forcefully fondled and had sex with a 16-year-old girl in his apartment. Prosecutors said the teen knew him from a mutual friend. When Deanda went to the bathroom after having sex with the teen, she put her pants on and ran away.
The 16-year-old and the 15-year-old went to police to report the sexual assaults on April 27.
Deanda was sentenced to four years in prison in June 1994 for vehicle theft conspiracy. He also was convicted to battery in 203 and was sentenced to 18 months probation. He was also ordered to stay away from children under 18 as a special condition, court records said.
