Rodgers Decision To Come Thursday
(CBS) The NFC North crown is on the line this Sunday at Soldier Field, and the Bears should know which quarterback they'll face soon - Aaron Rodgers or Matt Flynn.
Speaking on his weekly radio show in Wisconsin on Tuesday, Rodgers said a decision should be announced Thursday.
"We have done a scan, and we are going through the process of evaluation," Rodgers said on Milwaukee's WAUK-AM 540. "Again, probably not what everybody wants to hear. But I can say definitively there will be (a decision announced by) Thursday, one way or another, there will be a definitive conclusion to this week's unknown."
Rodgers hasn't played since he was knocked out of the Bears-Packers game by Shea McClellin on Nov. 4.
"I am feeling better; not thinking about my injury at all," Rodgers said. "But I think ultimately it comes down to--it's big on the medical side--is the bone healed, or is there a large risk in going back out there that's too great that the organization would not want to put me out there?
"Obviously, I want to be out there. I know what's at stake. This is an important week for us. We're somehow back in this position to be able to get into the playoffs. What a better way to do that than against the Chicago Bears?"
