Robber Strikes Bank In Berwyn
BERWYN, Ill. (STMW) -- No weapon was shown when a man in a knit cap robbed a west suburban bank on Thursday morning.
The robbery occurred at 9:02 a.m. at the Charter One branch at 6201 W. Cermak in Berwyn, according to the FBI.
The suspect, described as a white man 20-26, 5-foot-5 to 5-foot-6, gave a teller a note demanding money but did not display a weapon. He got away with an undetermined amount of cash, according to the FBI.
The robber was wearing a black knit cap, white shirt and black jacket.
