Robber Hits Bank In Wheaton Jewel Store
WHEATON, Ill. (CBS) -- Police in Wheaton were trying Wednesday morning to find the person who robbed a bank in the western suburb.
As WBBM Newsradio's Dave Berner reports, the robber hit a TCF Bank Branch inside a Jewel grocery store at 2031 N. Main St. around 7 p.m. Tuesday.

The lone man walked up to the bank teller and demanded money from the clerk, implying he had a gun, Wheaton police said.
The clerk handed over an unknown amount of cash. No one was injured, and no shots were fired in the bank, Wheaton police said.
The suspect fled from the scene in a getaway car described as a small gray or silver sedan, which was last seen headed east on Geneva Road from Main Street, police say.
Police describe the robber as a white male between the ages of 30 and 40, standing about 5 feet 8 to 5 feet 10 inches tall, and with a thin build. He was wearing a dark-colored jacket with a hood, glasses, and a cloth that concealed his nose and mouth, police said.
The robber implied he had a weapon, and fled on foot after demanding and receiving money, the newspaper reported.
The same bank was robbed in October. Police do not yet know if the incidents are related.
