Road Rage Blamed For Indiana Expressway Shooting
LAKE STATION, Ind. (WBBM/CBS) -- Indiana State Police say it was apparently road rage that led to shots being fired into a car on Interstate 80 Thursday night.
As WBBM Newsradio 780's David Roe reports, Indiana State Police say two adults and a child from Merrillville were inside the car heading west on I-80 in the left lane near the Lake Station exit.

Around 9:20 p.m., another silver or gray Dodge Charger with dark tinted windows came up behind them and began flashing its headlights, according to a release from Indiana State Police.
The Charger then moved to the middle lane and pulled alongside the victims car, according to the release. The male driver of the Charger, who was wearing glasses, pointed a firearm and began shooting at the other vehicle, striking it numerous times. The Charger continued west bound without stopping.
One of the adults suffered injury from glass fragments and declined medical attention. The child and other adult were not injured.
The shooting stemmed from an alleged road rage incident, according to the release.
