Rizzo Named NL Rookie Of The Month

(WSCR) Cubs first baseman Anthony Rizzo was named the National League Rookie of the Month.

The 22-year-old Rizzo hit .330 (32-for-97)  with seven home runs and 17 RBIs in 25 games for the month of July.

Since his call up on June 26, Rizzo is batting .316  with eight home runs and 20 RBIs.
