PALATINE, Ill. (STMW) - Residents of two apartments in northwest suburban Palatine were displaced by a fire early Saturday. No one was injured in the fire, which was quickly brought under control by firefighters.
At 3:48 a.m., the Palatine Fire Department responded to a report of an apartment fire at 1307 Baldwin Ct., a release from the fire department said. The first arriving fire crews, who got there five minutes later, reported fire showing from a third floor apartment window of the 11-unit apartment building.
Firefighters started an aggressive interior attack and the fire was contained to the one apartment, the release said. The fire was brought under control in 11 minutes.

All other residents were allowed back into their units once the fire was out.
