Saints' Kromer Hired As Bears Offensive Coordinator
(CBS) Marc Trestman's coaching staff is already taking shape.
The new Bears head coach has hired Saints offensive line coach Aaron Kromer as his offensive coordinator.
Kromer spent the last five seasons with the Saints, but his contract expired at the end of the season, making him a free agent. Kromer filled in as the Saints' interim head coach while Sean Payton and Joe Vitt served suspensions earlier this season, but went just 2-4 in that role.

Kromer was also the offensive line coach at Northwestern from 1999-2000 and reportedly interviewed for the Boston College head coaching job in November.
It's possible Trestman will still call plays on offense.
Meanwhile, 670 The Score's Mike Mulligan reports Colorado State offensive coordinator Pat Meyer will join Trestman's staff in some capacity.
