Source: Urlacher In Talks With The Vikings
(CBS) -- Free Agent linebacker Brian Urlacher is in talks to join NFC North rival Minnesota Vikings, according to The Score's Mike Mulligan.
The eight-time Pro Bowler is a free agent for the first time and has spent every year of his career with the Bears since they took him with the ninth overall pick in the 2000 NFL Draft.
Mulligan cites a Vikings source who said the team has indeed spoken with the 34-year-old Urlacher and that they are "monitoring" the situation.
The source also said the Vikings still believe Urlacher will ultimately return to the Bears.
