Report: TNT Moves Barkley Inside For Game 4, Away From Angry Heat Fans
CHICAGO (CBS) During TNT's postgame broadcast after the Chicago Bulls 96-85 Game 3 loss to the Miami Heat, Charles Barkley became the focus of intense jeering and taunting by fans outside AmericanAirlines Arena.
Earlier in this series, Barkley referred to the Heat as a "whiny bunch," and after a taking a 2-1 series lead, Heat fans were more than happy to hurl some insults back at Barkley.
According to a report by the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, Barkley and the rest of the crew will be inside for Game 4.
"We appreciate the tremendous enthusiasm of the fans and all that they bring to our live coverage," Jeff Behnke, Turner Sports senior vice president and executive producer, told the newspaper in a statement. "As we continue with our coverage of the Eastern Conference Finals, we are evaluating the best options for presenting our studio show live from Miami."
