Report: Steelers Interested In Former Bears TE Davis, Spaeth
(CBS) After locking up tight end Martellus Bennett with a four-year contract, the Bears promptly cut both Kellen Davis and Matt Spaeth.
Though, according to a report, the ex-Bears tight ends have caught the eye of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
CBS Sports' Jason LaCanfora reported that Davis visited with the Steelers this week, though he's unlikely to sign with the team.
It's more likely Pittsburgh will bring back Spaeth, who played for the Steelers from 2007-10 after he was drafted in the third round of the 2007 NFL Draft. Spaeth started for the Steelers during their Super Bowl run in 2008.
