Report: Sale's Agent 'Extremely Concerned' About White Sox Treatment
(CBS) Everyone has an opinion on Chris Sale these days, mainly because no one really has any idea what's going on with the left-hander.
That includes his agent, BB Abbott, who had this to say to the Chicago Tribune:
"In short, yes I am extremely concerned about the way the White Sox have approached this entire situation with Chris and his future. It is his future, isn't it?"
Sale had an MRI Thursday on his tender left elbow, despite the White Sox insisting he's not hurt. The results of that MRI are expected to be revealed Friday.
White Sox general manager Kenny Williams, who has remained silent on the Sale issue since the team took him out of the starting rotation a week ago, is expected to talk to reporters Friday.
