Report: Reinsdorf Opposes Plan To Eliminate Pensions
(CBS) White Sox Owner Jerry Reinsdorf is opposing a plan by MLB owners to eliminate pensions for all non-uniformed personnel, according to a report by ESPN.
The proposal to eliminate the pensions will be voted on by MLB owners during their meeting May 8-9 in New York. A previous attempt to eliminate the pensions was killed by Reinsdorf.
