Report: Peppers Fined $10K For Hit On Rodgers
Julius Peppers drew a penalty flag for a hit on Green Bay Packers' quarterback Aaron Rodgers in the NFC Championship game. And the penalty for that hit will continue to Peppers' wallet.
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Peppers will be fined $10,000 for the hit that came at a crucial point in Sunday's game.
The hit was poorly received by the Soldier Field crowd and there didn't appear to be any malicious intent.
After the game Rodgers admitted that had it not been for the new helmet he was wearing he probably would have suffered his third concussion of the season.
