Report: NU To Play More Games At Wrigley
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Northwestern and the Chicago Cubs have announced a new partnership that will lead to more games at Wrigley, according to a report in the Chicago Tribune.
The report said that no football games will be played there in 2013, but other sports including baseball, softball, soccer and lacrosse may have games at Wrigley this year.
Northwestern hosted Illinois in a football game at Wrigley Field in 2010 and both teams were forced to play one way because of the field dimensions. The Tribune report indicated the date for a future football game will depend on the pace of renovations.
