UPDATE: Notre Dame has confirmed a report that tight End Kyle Rudolph will enter the NFL Draft. In a statement released on the university's athletic website, Rudolph said the following:
"I truly feel blessed for the last three years of my life at Notre Dame. It has been a great experience I wouldn't trade for anything and wish everyone could experience something like this just once in his or her life. It has also been a dream of mine to play in the National Football League and so I will forgo my final season of eligibility at Notre Dame and enter my name for the 2011 NFL Draft."

Notre Dame's standout tight end, Kyle Rudolph, missed the majority of the season with a knee injury. And according to a report, he's now headed for the NFL Draft.
NBC Sports cites two un-named sources who say that Rudolph has played his last game for the Irish. And according to the report has decided to sign with agent Drew Rosenhaus.
Rudolph's shortened Notre Dame career looks to end with his career numbers being: 90 receptions, 1,032 yards and 8 touchdowns, over the course of three season. Although he missed nearly all of this last season, many draft experts consider him the best tight end available in the draft, if in fact he does forgo of his senior season.
