Report: Nothing Structurally Wrong With Rose's Back

(CBS) There is nothing structurally wrong with Derrick Rose's back and the Bulls point guard remains day-to-day with back spasms, the Chicago Tribune's K.C. Johnson reports.

Rose visited a back specialist Monday who confirmed the issue is muscular. He will continue to treat it with therapy and rest.

Rose originally left last Monday's game in New Jersey with back spasms. He came back and played 22 minutes two days later in New Orleans, but then missed two consecutive games, including Sunday's game in Boston.

The point guard suffered a similar back problem in high school, but said it disappeared quickly without treatment.
