Report: Noah Will Travel With Bulls
Chicago Bulls' center Joakim Noah will accompany the team on their five-game road trip that begins in Los Angeles on Wednesday.
According to K.C. Johnson, of the Chicago Tribune, Noah is scheduled to have the cast removed from his right hand on Monday and will be with the team when they play the Clippers on Wednesday.
"Another step closer," Noah told Johnson of losing the cast. "I'm just working hard on my conditioning and trying to get back as soon as possible."
Noah has been doing drills with his left hand for several weeks, and has even spent some time working with Scottie Pippen.
"He has to work on basketball stuff -- his timing, his touch, strengthening his hand," Bulls head coach Tom Thibodeau told Johnson. "He'll start the non-contact part of practice. Once he clears that, he will practice with contact. And then he will be able to play. He's still pretty much on schedule. It's probably the way we're looking at it right now right after the All-Star break."
The Bulls will head into Wednesday's game on a five-game winning streak and tied with the Miami Heat for second place in the Eastern Conference.
