Knox To Begin Training Camp On PUP List
(WSCR) The road to recovery will continue for Bears wide receiver Johnny Knox.
Knox, who underwent spinal fusion surgery during the offseason, will begin training camp on the physically unable to perform list.
According to league rules, Knox can be elevated to the 53-man roster at any time while on the PUP list. If he is on PUP to start the regular season, however, he must sit out the first six weeks.
"There's no timetable," Knox told the Chicago Tribune. "We're all taking our time on this. They're not rushing me, and I'm not rushing myself. This here was a serious injury. We're all taking our time on this."
