Report: Illini Reach Out To Brad Stevens
(CBS) Illinois has reached out to Brad Stevens about its head coaching vacancy and its interest in the Butler head coach is "high", according to Jeff Rabjohns of the Indiana Rivals.com web site Peegs.com.
670 The Score's Dan Bernstein reported Friday that if Illinois is willing to offer the same package it offered VCU's Shaka Smart, Stevens would be interested.
Rabjohns reports that no offer has been made yet.
