Report: Hossa Hopes To Play Tonight
(CBS) The Chicago Tribune is reporting that Blackhawks winger Marian Hossa is hopeful to play in Tuesday night's contest against the Phoenix Coyotes, but will be a game-time decision.
Hossa hasn't skated in four days after suffering an upper-body injury, causing him to miss the Hawks' 3-2 shootout loss to the Boston Bruins on Sunday. He was, however, on the ice for Tuesday's morning skate.
"I feel the best I've felt in the last four days so that's a great sign," Hossa said. "I really hope I'm going to play (Tuesday night). I'll see how it affects me a few hours after practice. I really hope it's going to be good and I believe it's going to be good because I feel good. (Monday) I felt a little worse but today is another day--an extra day to rest and there was no issue."
