Report: Hawks To Play Outdoor Game Against Pens At Soldier Field
(CBS) -- The Blackhawks will play the Pittsburgh Penguins in an outdoor hockey game at Soldier Field on March 1, 2014, according to a report by ESPN.
The game would be part of the NHL's plans to hold six outdoor games next season. The Hawks-Pens game would be part of the NHL's Hockey Weekend Across America.
The Blackhawks previously hosted an outdoor game against the Detroit Red Wings at Wrigley Field for the 2009 Winter Classic.
