Report: Hamilton, Deng Out Vs. 76ers
(CBS) Both Richard Hamilton and Luol Deng will miss tonight's game against the 76ers.
Deng continues to recover from a torn ligament in his left wrist, while Hamilton is working to get back from a strained groin muscle.
Bulls head coach Tom Thibodeau said Hamilton will continue to sit until he is 100 percent recovered.
'What we want to avoid is the in and out," Thibodeau told the Chicago Tribune. "He has missed more games than he has played. That's a big concern. We have to make sure he is completely healthy.
"Rip is a terrific player. And he plays both ends. I'm concerned with this thing becoming reoccurring. I want to make sure this time he is completely healthy. A guy like that, you have to be careful with. So that's what we're going to do."
Hamilton has missed 12 of the Bulls' 23 games this season.
