Report: Gavin Floyd Could Undergo Tommy John Surgery
(CBS) Five days after the White Sox placed Gavin Floyd on the disabled list with a flexor muscle strain in his right arm, the right-hander could undergo Tommy John surgery.
Bob Nightengale of USA Today tweeted Floyd is "tentatively" planning on having the surgery, which would cost him the rest of the season.
Floyd hasn't pitched since April 27 and is 0-4 with a 5.18 ERA in five starts this season.
