Cubs' Wells, Wood Sent To Iowa
(WSCR) As the Cubs work to trim their roster to 25 players, more cuts were made Thursday.
Hurlers Randy Wells and Travis Wood were among cuts made Thursday morning.
With Wells and Wood out of the picture, Jeff Samardzija and Chris Volstad are likely to be added to the starting rotation.
