Cubs Hire Astros' Deshaies To Replace Brenly
(WSCR) Len Kasper has a partner again.
The Cubs have hired former Astros TV analyst Jim Deshaies to replace Bob Brenly in the Cubs' TV booth.
Brenly left the Cubs in October to join the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Deshaies spent 12 season as a pitcher in the Majors, most notably with the Astros.
The Cubs were reportedly also interested in Dan Plesac, Eric Karros and Todd Hollandsworth and Mark DeRosa.
