(CBS) Clippers star Blake Griffin injured his right hand Monday when he struck a member of the team's equipment staff, ESPN reported.
The incident occurred in a Toronto restaurant and continued outside the facility, where Griffin hit the staffer multiple times, according to ESPN's Michael Eaves.
Averaging 23.2 points and 8.7 rebounds this season, Griffin's expected to miss several weeks with the injury, which is believed to be a fracture, per multiple reports. He had missed the Clippers' last 14 games with a quadriceps injury.
The Clippers are 28-16 on the season, good for fourth place in the Western Conference.
