Report: Charges Dropped Against Aaron Kromer
(CBS) Misdemeanor battery charges against Bills offensive line coach Aaron Kromer and his son have been dropped, ESPN.com reported Friday.
The charges were dropped at the request of the accusers' parents, ESPN reported, citing an "amicable resolution" with the attorneys for Kromer.
On Thursday, Kromer had pleaded not guilty to the charge, which stemmed from an incident in Florida earlier in July in which Kromer was arrested after confronting two boys over a dispute over beach chairs. Kromer was alleged to have pushed one of the boys to the ground and punched him. His son was accused of having a role in the altercation as well.
Kromer joined the Bills in January after being fired from the Chicago Bears. He was placed on paid leave shortly after his arrest.
