Report: Carimi Could Miss 4 Weeks With Dislocated Knee
(CBS) It's not the worst news for rookie right tackle Gabe Carimi, but it's not good news.
Carimi has a dislocated right knee, according to the Chicago Sun-Times' Sean Jensen.
The report says the rookie could miss four weeks because of the injury. Unless the Bears sign an additional tackle, they will likely have to move forward with Frank Omiyale at right tackle.
Jensen mentions that it is a similar injury to what Marc Colombo had in 2002. Colombo also suffered femoral nerve damage that season, however, which landed him on injured reserve and caused him to miss the entire 2003 season as well.
