Illinois State Police said that the bus had more than a dozen passengers at the time of the crash.
Fire Department spokesman Joe Roccasalva says two of the victims were taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in serious to critical condition, while two others were taken to Sts. Mary and Elizabeth Medical Center in fair to serious condition. It was not immediately known how many of the injured - if any - were from the school bus.
