Report: Butler Takes Physical, Could Practice On Thursday
Former Los Angeles Clipper swingman Rasual Butler met with the Chicago Bulls and took his physical on Thursday, according to a report by the Chicago Tribune's K.C. Johnson.
The Bulls are expected to make the signing official later Thursday and will also have to inactivate one player for Friday's game against the Orlando Magic. The addition of Butler will put the Bulls at 13 players, one over the league maximum.
The Bulls haven't announced if they will practice on Thursday, but if they do Butler could join them.
Butler averaged 5.0 points, 1.9 rebounds and 0.7 assists in 41 games with the Clippers this season. He's shooting 32.6% from three-point range and has averaged 18.1 minutes per game, including two starts.
