Report: Bulls Trade Korver To Atlanta
(CBS) Pending a physical, the Bulls traded Kyle Korver to the Atlanta Hawks Friday, according to the Chicago Tribune's K.C. Johnson.
Johnson reports the trade "is via Minnesota into Atlanta's traded player exception" meaning the Bulls will receive a second-round pick from the Timberwolves.
The team had until Sunday to either pick up Korver's $5 million option for next season or pay him a $500,000 buyout. The trade will save the Bulls the buyout money.
