Report: Bulls To Host Lakers On Christmas Day
(CBS) The full NBA schedule for the upcoming season is set to be released this evening at 5 p.m., but word on some of the high-profile games and dates has already begun leaking out.
Already, we know that the Bulls will host the Lakers on Christmas Day this season, ESPN.com reported. It will be a reunion of sorts, with Bulls big man Pau Gasol and Lakers power forward Carlos Boozer each facing their former teams.
Also, the Knicks are tentatively scheduled to host the Bulls in their season opener, according to the New York Daily News' Frank Isola, so Carmelo Anthony won't have to wait long to face a suitor he flirted with in free agency. There was no date reported on that matchup, so it's not known yet if that's also Chicago's season opener.
