Report: Bulls Interested In Brandon Roy
(CBS) The Bulls are one of five teams taking a serious look at former Portland Trailblazers guard Brandon Roy, according to Yahoo! Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski.
Roy, 27, retired in 2011 with chronic knee problems as the Blazers used their amnesty clause on him. Since then, Roy has undergone a platelet rich plasma therapy procedure previously used by Kobe Bryant, Tracy McGrady and Alex Rodriguez and is attempting a comeback.
The Mavericks, Pacers, Timberwolves and Warriors are also interested in Roy and it could take the full-mid level exception to sign him, according to the report.
1500AM radio in Minnesota reported the Timberwolves were willing to offer a two-year deal.
