Report: Blue Jays Interested In Gordon Beckham
(CBS) Gordon Beckham's days in Chicago may be numbered.
As MLB.com's Scott Merkin and Gregor Chisholm report, the Blue Jays are in need of infield help and have interest in the White Sox's second baseman.
The possibility of this trade was first explored last season.
Making matters more interesting, the reports suggests the Blue Jay may look to expand the deal to also include a starting pitcher, such as Hector Santiago or John Danks.
Both White Sox GM Rick Hahn and Blue Jay GM Alex Anthopoulos declined to comment.
