Bears Re-Sign Kahlil Bell, Put Michael Bush on IR

(CBS) The Bears re-signed running back Kahlil Bell Tuesday after putting Michael Bush (ribs) on season-ending injured reserve.

In a puzzling move, Bush was active Sunday against the Packers, even though he was unable to play.

Bell was waived by the New York Jets Dec. 11. He spent time with the Bears earlier this season before being released.

Bush appeared in 13 games for the Bears this season, rushing for 411 yards and five touchdowns on 114 carries. He also caught nine passes for 83 yards.
